This paper aims to examine the impact of COVID-19 on online business academia in the digital economy, investigate perspectives on environmental sustainability in online teaching, and evaluate evolving communication dynamics among educators and students. Conducting a constructive exploration aims to identify essential elements for preservation in the evolving Digital Economy, highlighting opportunities and challenges. Understanding the foundational aspects of the Digital Economy, which gained prominence in the early 1990s, is crucial for dissecting its broader implications
