Abstract

The glacial landscape reflects a full glacial situation, while sediments and landforms on the lowlands relate to Late Weichselian glacial and marine events. The Late Weichselian sediments consist of three major glaciomarine sequences, deposited in a shallow water fjord/bay environment and separated by glacigenic outwash sediments, debris flows and tills. A synthesis of available evidence on the deglaciation is proposed, and related to a radiocarbon chronology for the glacial and marine events. -from Author
