Workshop Description:In this workshop, we will explore how to organize blended (hybrid/hyflex) learning with an emphasis on reducing teacher workload and enhancing student participation in both on-site and distance learning. We will review ways to increase student commitment, improve real-time participation on-site and online, and build a strong learning community. Discussion will include the organization of programs and courses, attendance requirements, field trips, and assessments with the goal of promoting high-quality education in both on-site and distance learning through active real-time participation.
Purpose:
Provides teachers in the Special Education program the opportunity to develop teaching practices that better support students and reduce stress in their own work.
Workshop Goals:
Discuss how to reduce teacher workload and increase student participation.
